What The Den has to offer your child this Summer
It's finally the Summer holidays for your children and you may be struggling with things for your kid's to do. Here at the Den, we want to offer your children different opportunities that they may not experience anywhere else.
This year, we have been working really hard alongside Karbon homes and Digital voice to bring your child the most amazing workshops based around really enjoyable skills such as Circus, science, cooking, animation, film making and MORE!
Big Science will be at the Den Friday 12th August between 1pm and 3pm where your child will be involved in some BIG experiments and also learning a lot about the different sciences and how things work.
Creative Kitchen will be at the Den Thursday 18th August between 10am and 12:30pm where your child will be in the kitchen following recipes and creating some fantastic dishes that your child can bring home for the whole family to try.
Circus skills camp will be at the Den on Wednesday 24th August from 10:30am until 2:30pm where your child will really feel like they are a part of the circus while learning so many neat tricks such as plate spinning, feather balancing and many, MANY more.
The Den goes digital is 5 different media based workshops ran by digital voice. These sessions will teach your child all of the different skills needed for different media based art professions such as animation and film making.
Thursday 25th August- Digital drawing and animation (Learn how to draw and animate on the iPads) from 10am-3pm for ages 7-10
Friday 26th August- Our Den, our way photo art consultation (create art that tells us what you want at the Den) from 10am-3pm for ages 7-10
*FULLY BOOKED* Tuesday 30th August- Digital drawing and animation (learn how to draw and animate on the iPads) from 10am-3pm for ages 10-16
Wednesday 31st August- Our Den, our way film making consultation (create films that tells us what you want at the Den) from 10am-3pm for ages 10-16
Thursday 1st September- TikTok short video making (learn how to use and make TikTok videos) from 10am-3pm for ages 13-16
All of these summer workshops are completely free for all children involved and spaces are filling FAST. To sign your child up, please use the contact us section on our website or send a message to us on our Facebook page. Food will be provided at all of these groups so no need to worry about packed lunches! The Den will also have our tuck shop on for those that would like some sweets or a drink. We suggest a maximum of £2 per child for that.
